Heather is lead TVN for Greater Glasgow and Clyde. NHSGGC serves 120000 people, has 35 hospitals, 6000 beds, 240 GP practices. Heather has been nursing for 41 years and a TVN for the last 17, previously working in numerous roles including cancer CNS and nurse manager. She is current Chair of the NATVNS and a SOTV Trustee. Heather claims ‘she has the best job in the NHS’. Out-with work Heather enjoys being outdoors with her family and two Dachshunds, mainly being groom and truck driver when her daughter is competing in equestrian events. Heather also sings with the NHSGGC choir.
